  1. This is the mirrors I have. I am slowly collecting parts for frame off restoration.
  2. Hi guys, since I have been blocked on FB lifetime for violating some rule which they do not tell me, I lost contact with the US comunity. I want to buy some parts for my pick up that I have here in Europe. Door mirrors- which do look as closest to the original ones, I have looked at Dormans and the picture is not much satisfying DORMAN 955180 door hinges- I would like the complete asemblies, as the old ones are way gone, the spring broken on driver side, and want to avoid cheap crap right front fender- original used good one, as the one I have on the truck was replaced for aftermarket and does not line up good right door- damaged since I have bought the pick up, good used door front brake pads- seems the ones I have bought are too hard and the braking is not that great, new caliper seals, new rubber hoses, new master cylinder, new hydroboost, still the brakes could be better, the rear blocks before the front does new rear shoes- quality ones, I see different manufacturers, dont know which ones are good The deal is I am shipping container with a car from LA, Ca and want to source parts for my Ford to be put in and get a free ride. Thanks for any input. Jan Micka
  3. Where did you find the speakers at as I need a set also. Dave ---- Internet, I am located in Europe, I purchased VISATON BG 17 - 8 Ohm, they are slightly bigger than the hole in the door, it neded a little triming of the door. I am quite happy with them, they sound way better than the original ones.
  4. "NOTE - Standard Hamilton Company, Inc, the previous manufacturer of Dump-Pro has gone out of business due to the recession of 2008 and onward. If you had bought a Dump-Pro from Standard Hamilton and need technical support, Dump-Pro, LLC may be able to help you. " Seems like this product has been gone for over a decade now. I could tell it was old by that advertisement. I know it was old, but I think it was also kind of unique as it was light, easily removable. It would be nice to have it and when needed just to mount it to the bed. I am thinking building something similar, but just out of aluminum or steel.
  5. I am thinking of welding something up similar to this, I will need it in the future, as I am going to build a new house. I am tired of showeling everything out.
  6. Anybody ever seen this? I would love to get it, I know they are not making those any more but if anyone knows of a used unit, please let me know. I am located in Europe, so it would be imported. No I am not interested in heavy steel inserts, this one would suit my needs perfectly. Thanks for any imput. Jan
  7. Just an update, I purchased 8 Ohm 30 Watt speakers and they work great, when the radio volume is in the middle it is very very loud, no need to go over one third. It is hard to come by a new 8 ohm speakers, as most are 4 Ohm. So anybody wanting a stock setup without added amplifier, this is the only way.
  8. It's relatively easy to re-align a fender; and it's often necessary because Ford used paper shims at the top, so they degrade over the years. So it's possible that it's the original fender (it looks original in your photo), and it only needs adjustment. The correct procedure is to align the door to the cab first; and then align the fender to the door. If the door needs adjustment, it's easier with the fender off. The fender I have is slightly different than the left one, is shorter about half centimeter, the side marker does not fit right, the A pilar lining is horible, diferent than the left one, the light door to fender lining is bad as well. I have tried to line it the best but still not good. I can reweld it but thought it would be easier to get the oem one. The front clip was repainted in the past, I think minor accident. I am colecting all the parts for frame off restoration, will try to work every winter and make some progress while it is off the salty roads.
  9. I am sorry, I am all over these days, just had a small fire in my house last night. Damn heating blanket cought fire on me while sleeping. I am fine, but what a surprise. I am selling my house, moving to a house I inherited after my father, sick with vertebrae discs, barely walking, just my usual mess. This is the picture when I bought the truck in the US, Longview, Washington. The doors are damaged as well, somebody must have backed up with open door, I bought it that way. I can repair the doors, but the fender was changed somewhere in the past and does not line up the contours well. I would like to change it if I source the original one, I was dumb not to import one with the truck.
  10. Hi, I am in need of a right bull nose fender, the one I have is damaged and it was not the original fitment was quite bad. I have some parts ready to be shipped from LA, California to Europe, anyone arount to help me out? Thank you very much.
