Lol, you said it! It really was a good drive...not only the 1700 miles there and back again, but also the additional 450 miles from my side trip up into Kansas. My only complaint was the bad roads in parts of Mississippi and Kansas...the squeaking and rattling just about drove me nuts! Not to mention I'm pretty sure that's why my hubcap lost the fight right at the end there. Do you still sport the old hubcap on the spare in the bed?

Where are you located? In storage I have a factory fuel tank from a 1985 which was equipped with 4.9L and only had 61K miles. It is very clean and is the 16.25 gal side tank. Beginning in 1985, the tanks had the larger sender mount hole for the trucks since some had F.I.

In the past, Chris TuButis had concerns as the date gets closer to October due to foggy conditions in the Denver area.

It has the unique transmission crossmember, so it definitely does. Amazing how these (bullnose brush trucks) are still available out there. Really makes you wonder what people are using them for, because I rarely see them put back into firefighting use. Most of the ones here in Florida get flatbeds and are used as ranch trucks. Christopher, it looks like it "ended", meaning it did not meet the reserve, so look for it in the near future. It likely will be listed again. By the way, it ended at $449.44.

Don't feel bad David, I searched Ebay for the correct auction for a solid 10 minutes with no luck and then realized that it was spelled "Sungard" and not "Sunguard". Once I spelled it correctly, it popped up first search;)
