  1. You may want to check with some of your older "hometown" auto parts stores if any exist anymore, i know NAPA in my town as of 10 years ago used to make all kinds of hoses from AC to hydraulic lines. You took them the ends you needed to adapt to and then told them how long they needed to be and they made them. Maybe even some tractor dealerships like deere or case Some of the kits from Vintage Air will work too, however you have to have someone that can crimp them. I too have an 81 with a dead AC, but with the cost of hose kits and compressors i have decided im going to go to the Junkyard and grab an entire serpentine setup off a newer 4.9 (i have 300) and if im lucky i can get the hoses too. Everything i have seen so far the hoses should work as long as i get the correct dryer.
  2. Fantastic, yes that is the part i need. Also for the ash tray its kind of a dark tan i guess, but any color will work as im probaby going to re-paint the entire dash carrier assembly. Thank you so much for your help. You mind if i add a few other items to the list? lol. We don't ever get bullnoses in the junkyards around here, if its over 20-25 years old, its usually sent straight to the crusher.
  3. Ron's flying toilet, my cousin had one on his 69 camaro chassis car. It was a mechanical fuel injection system, used "pills" to change the fuel flow rate, the Toilet bowl part was just a single giant butterfly
  4. I know this is a bit of a stale thread, but i just wanted to throw my carb knowledge out there. My bro in law has the summit carb on his camaro, and it works fine, he don't drive it a lot so i can't really say anything to its daily "driveability" but it did make his car run a lot better than the old worn out holley he had on it. That stated, i saw some chatter about the summit being a clone of the 4100...its not, it shares some of the design features, like the top plate, no gaskets below the fuel level, everything else is basically a holley 4010 (again, may have been inspired by the 4100). 4100 has an internal vaccum secondary, has different accelerator pump configuration, dual fuel inlets, center hung vs side hung floats, externally adjustable floats... you can't take a single part off the summit carb and put it on an Autolite 4100. I think the ONLY thing they truly share is booster design. So, its not a clone, just want folks to know that before they go buy one, its more accurate to call it a holley 4010 clone. IN my opinion the 4100 is a better carb, its simpler and just plain works. Here is a holley 4010
  5. @kramttocs that will be great if you do, I’ll throw this out there that I also need an ash tray assembly and the filler piece that goes below the steering column and the black plastic piece that goes around the column (non tilt). Guess the PO was trying to save some weight lol.
  6. I need the plastic tube that goes behind the dash, behind the gauges where the two vents on the bezel are. Ill pay whatever it’s worth plus shipping, can send you a shipping label. Thank you
  7. Thanks! I have used so much info off this site, I greatly appreciate it.
  8. 1000% T-19 I reckon the old Overdrive transmission hatched at some point and put a T19 in it.
  9. Thanks Epps Louisiana tiny town in northeast Louisiana.
  10. Northeast Louisiana. The Bronco was on FB marketplace said the motor was knocking. That knock turned out to be a bent pushrod, 2 dollars at autozone and a little elbow grease and it was running like a top again. It had plenty of other little problems but I sorted them all out and let someone else take it over.
  11. Good evening fellow bullnose enthusiasts. A few years ago i acquired an 86 Bronco that I have thus since restored for the most part. I also had another one I bought for parts but it was in too good of shape for me to tear it to pieces so I fixed it up and flipped it so someone else could enjoy a bullnose. I am now on bullnose number 3, an 81 custom F150 with 300 and t19 trans. I figured I have been involved with enough bullnose a maybe I can help others and yet still ask for help. I have enjoyed the wealth of info this site has to offer and want to give back if I can. I have been active on fullsizebronco forum under the same name. anyway here’s bullnose number 3 for me
