  1. Well, the website Chris created now probably has all 559 pages. The nav menu is broken so everything is in a jumble at the top of the page. But, he caused the system to load all of the files onto/into Wordpress, and they appear. However, there are things that are broken, like tabs and thumbnails that work as buttons. He's going to look into it. But, there is PROGRESS!
  2. ckuske has created a website using the file the lady from wpbeginner sent. And it has 7 pages instead of 559. And those 7 pages have a sentence or two on them, but nothing else. No content like pics or pdf's. So I've gone back to her to see what can be done. Perhaps she'll respond in the morning. But her last email said: So Wordpress is supposed to have downloaded the files w/o us having to do that. Anyway, here's what one original page looks like vs the wpbeginner page:
  3. Heh, that would be cool. :) Where do you live? Ocala, FLorida still? That's over 1700 miles one way, at least 26 hours just driving. Make it a 2-week road trip-kind of thing and stay here a while and you're on! :) I decided to finish installing the replacement tank before I go take something more (the carburetor) apart. Got the tank physically installed but am having troubles with the filler tube, I wish it were about an inch longer. Maybe I'll try again this weekend, depending on weather. You thinking that the old tank is full of rust? Could be a big part of the problem. I know that I had a rusty tank on that white '82 Explorer and it plugged the accelerator pump discharge nozzles more than once. And that was through two of the clear filters in series.
  4. Head could be cracked. It'll do the same thing. And when you do the leakdown test, have all of the plugs out. Then check adjacent cylinders to the one you are testing as it is possible the leak will go to one of them. I had one that didn't open up to the cooling system until it got hot. But it went into the adjacent cylinder all the time, and showed up in the leakdown test.
  5. The cool down here was dramatic. I'm glad I waited to unload Blue from the show as it is now NICE outside. Hope you get the same change as well.
  6. I know I keep saying this, but a leak-down test would reveal the problem if it is a gasket problem. You put air into the cylinders, one at a time, and if there's a gasket leaking you'll see bubbles in the radiator.
  7. You might have a head gasket problem. I had a blown head gasket and the truck was happy below 45 MPH. But above that it overheated. Or, you may have the head gaskets in backwards. There's a tab that shows which way they are supposed to go, and if in wrong it'll overheat.
  8. Hold the tissues! I just got an email from wpbeginner with a file which they say contains the whole of the site. I've emailed it to ckuske to see if he can import it to a Wordpress instance on Dreamhost. But, I have my doubts as it is only 16.7Mb while the backup I just downloaded is 1.7Gb. However, the lady from wpbeginner said that's because it only has links to the picture and pdf files, and not the files themselves. I hope she's right!
  9. Ahhh! I see. You are making progress.
  10. Well folks, I'm bummed. I just got off the phone with Will Zudok of WPEngine. Apparently they are a major Wordpress hosting company and when you go to their site you are asked if you'd like to chat. I said yes and a few minutes later Will called. Nice guy. Drives a 2011 F150 w/a 3.5L EB and says it does great pulling his 18' boat. But, he took a look at the site and said he's 100% sure they cannot migrate it to Wordpress, and he's almost 100% sure no one can. In fact, he thinks the only way to take it to Wordpress is to rebuild it there, page by page. Pass the tissues, please.
  11. It is! Or at least it was...today it looks more like this: The truck is in very nearly the same place in both photos...the property is currently being bulldozed and prepared for a new house being built. We are EVERYWHERE. That is really interesting. I think I see the same tree in both pics. Really cool!
  12. Cool! Is that the infamous 9603 N. Memorial Drive?
  13. Mid-day update on the potential migration. Summary: It ain't gonna be easy! :nabble_smiley_cry:Details:I watched the video, above, closely and tried wpbeginner's weeblytowp free migration tool. It runs for a few minutes and then fails with a 505 code. I turned in a trouble ticket to them. :nabble_smiley_unhappy:Then I turned to cms2cms, which does migrations for a living. They have a test migration tool that will migrate 10 pages for free and put them up on their Wordpress site. So I ran the test and checked out the results. I'll let ya'll decide from the side-by-side screenshots below. But, I'll give you a hint - I contacted Tania on their chat support line and endured the 5 - 8 minute wait between responses. Sent her a screenshot of a correct page and a link to what they made it look like, and she sent me a link to fill out a trouble form. But when I got down to questions about my new FTP Host Name, FTP Port, FTP Login, etc, etc, etc I went back to her. Several minutes later she realized she gave me the wrong trouble form.So I filled out the form and sent it in and asked her if she could see it. Minutes later she says "We received them, but it seems that your site is not available - https://www.screencast.com/t/wls3or6gMPlease note, for migration both sites has to be available." Screencast??? That's not me. Then she comes back with "We can't reach your site. Please add white list these 9 IP addresses."At this point any semblance of comfort that cms2cms can do the job has just vanished. I explained that I had no clue how to white list those addresses and am not interested in doing so until someone calls me and explains what is going on. Her response was that she's turned in a ticket. My response: "Ok. Meanwhile I'll see if anyone else can migrate this site. You might want to pass my telephone number on to management 'cause I'm not likely to use your services if you don't have time to call me back."
  14. Sure looks like Big Blackie! More/better pictures here (Documentation/Picture Galleries/Big Blackie) if you want to compare. Boy, he bought it for ~$15K and is selling it for $28K? With damage to the fender and trim?
  15. Chris was truckless this year and we took him in. Come and be part of it even if the truck can't make it. (For that matter, I didn't have a truck to show either.) Blue was there guarding the entrance. Shaun - So if I put a Ferrari sticker on the back of the Subaru....... David - That's true, he was. I did have a truck there!
  16. So it is an F100 with "Drive Type: F-350 Styleside (SR)". I'm really confused. The VIN decodes to an F100 2wd, but what is an F-350 drive type?
  17. Nice looking truck. But $18.5K for an F250 or F350 wannabe? An F150 with a 302 and clearance lights? That just seems to be an odd combo.
  18. R + N + D + 2 + 1 = 5 Yeah, that's true. But it has P as well, so is that a 6-speed? And, I forgot to mention that it is "shiftable".
  19. Now this is more like it! In fact, that would be something I'd be interested in were it not for the 302 in it. If it were a 351HO and a manual tranny....... It really is nice and clean though, and might be a good driver.
  20. A TH400????? Why!?!? That's basically the same thing as a C6 - a heavy-duty 3-speed auto with no OD and no lockup torque converter. I don't see any advantage in doing a swap like that, and lots of disadvantages. Oh well, it isn't my cup of tea anyway. At that price I would want a Bronco I can drive anywhere, and that one won't have street manners. But, thanks for posting the link. I think.
  21. Yeahbut, there wasn't a V6 that year. And there never was a 5-speed automatic. Nor even a 5-speed manual in the Bullnose trucks. So I'm guessing it really is the 300 six rather than the V6. But the tranny appears to be a C6.
