  1. It would be cool if he were to come on. I have a "business card" with the URL and other info, and I frequently leave one under the windshield wiper on a Bullnose I find. But to this point I don't think anyone's ever come on.
  2. The Bronco has a wheelbase of 104.7" and the shortbed is 116.8".
  3. Steve - House look beautiful. Well done! Ray - Surely that Bronco has some parts that would be helpful. So what's your friend's plan?
  4. 85/87 F250/350 "From 7/85" 460 E5TZ 9J435-N Approx, length 11 3/4"-"S" shaped
  5. This is misleading. It is for a 230 cubic inch (3.8L) V6 in the 1982 F100 with standard or extra cooling. Only.
  6. I wonder why the seller doesn't think it is right for and F100 or an F350? Anyway, it is nice, but expensive.
  7. Interesting that the bolt is only shown in the catalog as part of a kit for the 1980-89 F-Series either with or without aft fuel tank.
  8. Nice set, but expensive. Glad I've got the set for Dad's truck.
  9. Steve - Somehow I missed your question back in May. Sorry. But I'm using polyurethane. Anyway, I actually did a teeny bit of work on Dad's truck today. Yesterday I powder coated the transmission inspection plate that Bill sent me. Today I PC'd the screws, which are 1/4-14's. Here's the combo: And here they are installed, although this pic is poor:
  10. All I can think of here: If you've been following the thread called Sky's Offroad Design Super Duty RSK Install you'll have seen that I got several of the front suspension parts blasted and powder coated. But I've also been blasting and PC'ing some other parts, including these perches, engine mount brackets, and the lifting strap:
  11. I now have everything but the SORD cross member painted or powder coated. Here are the spring hangers, shackles, and the spacers: And here are the frame boxes. They've been blasted and then painted with a zinc-rich weld-through primer since they'll be welded into the inside of the frame to ensure they don't rattle. But before doing that I'll need to use the same paint on the inside of the frame.
  12. Right - as shown below there's an inner and outer on each side, but the pair is used both left and right side.
  13. Tommy - You are now, quite literally, on the map. And, close to Jonathan. Good to know about the 300. Would you be willing to share the details of your build in its own thread? Like the cam grind, head porting, carb jetting, etc. I know there are guys on here that are very interested in building a strong 300.
  14. Thanks! I'll report back in Dad's Truck Build thread later.
  15. That's the one! Thanks again for that. It'll go on Dad's truck as soon as I find the right bolts and powder coat them.
  16. I'd forgotten about that as well, Ray. And your uncle has that truck?
  17. Yes, you WAV. The pic above, and the farthest left item. Nothing to do with 4wd, nothing to do with Sky Off Road Design, and nothing to do with Big Blue.
  18. Got some media blasting and powder coating done today. Stuck the red perch in there to show how ugly they were. Unfortunately someone used good paint on them and blasting them isn't easily done. Anyway, I have the rear spring hangers & frame spacers to do and then the crossmember. And I have to paint the frame and frame boxes and then weld the frame boxes in. Then I can put it together! Bill - See anything in there you recognize?
  19. Welcome! Glad you found us. That's a pretty truck and a great story. We have a member's map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and I'd be happy to add you in Kingman if you are ok with that. What do you think of the 300 with that intake, carb, and exhaust? Been quite a bit of discussion on here of doing something like that.
  20. That IDI is heavy! I think it would collapse the CV springs.
