  1. Thanks! And yeah definitely not the best for rust but hey one thing I can appreciate is Oklahoma putting down sand instead of salting the roads in the winter.
  2. Thanks Gary! No that name doesn't ring any bells for me, but Yukon is a pretty big city
  3. Im certain there's gas in the tank, tested with about a gallon of gas and then switching over to the rear, it will end up dropping down to empty within 5 mins or so of driving. So its either a leak or the gauge sender like you are suggesting
  4. I wish I had some old pictures to go off of as a reference but unfortunately, I made the mistake of not doing a before/after
  5. Closer to Yukon actually, ill tell you that red clay is something I do not miss having to clean! Now I'm in Pheonix AZ.
  6. Thanks Gary excited to be here, Dane is perfect, I currently reside in Southern Arizona, but I've spent most of my life in good ole red dirt Oklahoma!
  7. Spent this last week tracking down oil leaks and inspecting the undercarriage of my new project truck -Checked all hoses for cracks and damage -Flushed and replaced old power steering fluid -Replaced valve cover gasket on driver side, passenger side still needs to be replaced -Oil pan gasket is leaking will need to be replaced -Noticed only my front gas tank was working while driving this weekend, will need to track down this issue at some point
  8. Thank you, I wasn't 100% if the firing order was 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 or 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, This clears it up a lot, thanks!
  9. Good evening everyone, My truck is a 1981 Ford F150 ranger with a 302 5.0L Windsor small block engine I've been replacing gaskets throughout my truck and as I was replacing my valve cover gaskets I disconnected the sparkplug wires for the distributor. Big mistake on my part as I didn't have any of the wires numbered or marked to put them back on the distributor. I've looked online everywhere for the correct firing order, and it only made me more confused. Does anyone have the correct firing order and experience with the correct distributor placement? Would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Hey y'all, Recently picked up a 1981 F150 Ranger as a project truck, it is not perfect but still a good find and a solid truck. Trying to keep most of the work OEM with a slight lift in the near future. I'm definitely going to need the help and knowledge of everyone here as this is my first project truck. Thanks and looking forward to interacting with everyone!
