  1. Hello Rene! . I'm still interested in the air box parts. What would you like to have for the group of parts? And can you estimate shipping to USA, zip code 27524? Thanks! Wayne
  2. That's perfect, it's exactly like mine. I really only need a small part of that kit, would you consider selling only a part off it or do you want to keep it all together? What I need is only the 90 degree elbow on the flexible tube (second part from the right), but I understand if you don't want to break it up. Let me know! Thanks, Wayne
  3. Hello Rene, I have been looking for the hoses to the air box for a while now with no luck. I have an '86 F150 with the 302, EFI also. Could you send a pic of the air box parts to see if they are the same? Thanks! Wayne
  4. Hi Chris, That's what I suspected but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for the info, I'll dig into the cabling side. Wayne
  5. That's a good point. I was so focused on bringing the truck I lost sight of just showing up! I'll stop by, just without the '86. I'll be in my Ram instead. I know, I know, but it's what gets me around on a daily basis... Wayne My DD when not driving the PU is a 02 Ram SUV so dont feel bad Dave ---- I found the hood cable and will bring it along David, thanks again so much for the hood cable! I put it in this morning, works like a champ. It was great meeting you, I hope we can do that more often, with or without car shows. Take care and thanks again! Wayne

  7. I am checking with someone to see if they know the time they gather and will let you know but noon'ish sounds good too. BTW if you eat from MoJo and tell them you are at the show you get a discount. There is also a pizza place if you like that. I think there is even a frozen yogurt store. I have a FTE sticker dose that count It would be nice to see you but I do understand it is a long trip for you. When you where in Mt Airy did you see Andy or Aunt Bee? LOL I have taken LP up there a few times from Apex. Dave ---- Good morning Dave and Mat! I have run into a bit of a problem for tomorrow. Last night I was tinkering around with the truck and broke my hood release cable, meaning I can't open my hood. Normally that wouldn't be a huge deal, but I have a loose wire that I haven't fixed yet and I can't start the truck without holding that wire while turning the key. Hence, I can't start my truck until I get the hood to open. I'm going to work on it this evening after work but can't guarantee I'll get it in working order before tomorrow. As of right now, I'm probably going to have to play it safe and say I won't make it tomorrow. I'd really like to have a Bullnose member get-together locally at some point, though, so let's stay in touch. See you soon, I hope! Wayne
  8. I ordered the last 3 from Machspeed. I doubt they'll be here in time for the show but hopefully there will be future get-togethers and I can give you guys one.
  9. Yep starts at 12pm to 4pm and I am sure others get there before then. On March 4 there is a show / cars & coffee at MoJo's grill 2648 Timber Dr. Garner, NC. Very cool, I'll definitely be there. The weather looks like it's going to be perfect.
  10. On my '86 the temp slider will only move about an inch so it's never cold nor hot. Would this blend door fix the issue or is that rooted somewhere else? Thanks!
  11. Get a bag of puffy Cheetos, they burn like mad. Kinda makes you not want to eat them... 😟
  12. Thanks Gary, I'm really happy to have found this forum. The grandkids are awesome, that's for sure. Our oldest is the only girl, she's 5. The rest are 3, 3 and 1. I can't wait for them to get older to truly spoil them!
  13. Hello all! I realize this thread is quite old and I'm a new member, but I really appreciate knowing others that I'm talking to even through forums. I hope it's ok that I am reviving this thread. I'll be 56 in June and will have been married for 30 years. We have 3 adult kids who have given us 4 awesome grandkids, so far. I grew up in central Illinois on a small farm, one of 9 kids. Yep, we almost had our own baseball team. 😆 The first vehicle I ever drove was my dad's '79 F150 SuperCab. My mom always drove Jeeps, usually a Grand Wagoneer to haul all of us kids. Boy would I like to have one of those back! My first vehicular purchase was a 1966 F100, straight 6 with "3 on the tree". I've owned pretty much every manufacturer since then, at least American stuff. And a VW once. My daily is a 2015 Ram 1500. My wife and I moved our two oldest kids to Raleigh in 1994. I work for a software company that develops kitchen cabinet design and shop floor execution technology. If you've went to Lowe's and designed a kitchen, that is my company's software in the background. I've been with them since 1994. I'm not the most mechanically minded guy in the world, but I'm definitely not afraid to tear into something to try to fix it. And I have access to a lift whenever I need it, so that helps. I'm excited to get to know this group better and this thread is perfect for that! Well done David for starting it. -Wayne
  14. That would be really cool to meet a bunch of you guys at the car show! I'm planning on being there. I've not found the start time online so I'll be there at noon'ish.
  15. I am just around the corner at 27501 on the Angier Benson line NC. On March 4 there is a show / cars & coffee at MoJo's grill 2648 Timber Dr. Garner NC my calendar has 12 pm start but they have a winter & summer start hours and I dont know what the 12 pm one is. Might be able to find out on the web some where. Be nice to see you and the truck there if you can make it. It seams I am the only 80's Ford that shows up at any show. And no it dose not need to be a show truck to show it. Dave ---- Hey Dave, that sounds great! I'll definitely try to make it to the car show. I lived at McGee's Crossroads for many years but drove to Cary for work. I put a lot of miles on back then!
