  1. It really went on well, they didn’t have any instructions for the twin I beam but I called the boys at Sky. Looks good and seems to drive well. Still waiting on shocks since the ones they sent were wrong so haven’t driven it but a few yards. The drop brackets were the most difficult because of cramped areas to wrench on.
  2. My truck has a bad blinker switch, need to replace it. Any how too tips or videos other than the scary ones on U-tube?
  3. Here is my progress so far: Fir a twin I beam you have to but(Sky recommends) Tuff Country’s axle pivot bracket pair. My trucks previous owner just shoved two extra leaf springs under the spring shackles. The result was a really bad front wheel toe in. Then you have to take off the bumper and grind off the rivets, then get the front shackle bolts out. No point in trying to pound them out, I tried with a 5lb sledge and only got tired. After cutting the bolt I had to step drill the hole to 7/8s. Next step is weld the new sleeve in and cut out the back pins. I’ll upload a few pictures. I’m about 10 hours into it so far. You can see my hangers were also shot. The new Tuff Country drop brackets
  4. They tell me it does but you have to buy additional parts.
  5. Installed the R&D fuel rails a month ago, I let it sit all this time just to see if it would loose pressure. Went out and started it last night and it started just like a new engine. 2 thumbs up for the R&D fuel rails, they were about a 2.5 hour install and not cheap but looks like worth the money and effort.
  6. I need to buy new wheels for my 85 F 350, what hole/wheel lug bolt pattern do I need to get to match it up with the stock lug bolts?
  7. The R&D injector cover seems to be working. 9 days after installation seems to start right up without cranking, coughing or sputtering. Ill keep you all posted on how it works.
  8. Thats where I looked for it, must have been removed.
  9. I installed it yesterday, went on ok. Took about 3 hours, it no longer leaks fuel at any of the injectors. I will update when it sits awhile to see if it sealed the system or if other places leak.
  10. Where is the water separator located?
  11. Sky told me to get drop brackets off their website. I tried for days to get them on the phone and finally they answered and gave me that info. https://www.skysoffroaddesign.com/collections/85-91-f-250-350-front-suspension/products/1980-1997-ford-f250-4wd-with-2-front-lift-kit-and-4-bolt-mounting-tuff-country-axle-pivot-drop-brackets-pair
  12. I just purchased one, all the reviews are world class so it should solve the problem.
  13. I have installed two different kits on my 6.9s injectors, when I took this truck over it had a bad fuel leak that poured out all over the engine when running. The first kit I purchased on ebay and it fixed that injector leak but two other injectors started to leak. It was sugested by others on the internet to try another kit online that was more expensive. I forget the name of that kit but after instalation one of the injectors continues to leaks continues still. For both kits I applied the lube on the orings as described, I even read and followed the instructions defying the norm of just jumping in. The leak is a much smaller leak but if the truck sits for more than a few days all the fuel drains and it is harder to start. What are the recomendations?
