  1. Looking to replace my spring insulators along with my springs and I can’t seem to find much other than on Jeff’s Graveyard. Was wondering if these moog ones would fit. Have a 1983 f150, 2wd K6203-2
  2. Hey guys, I’m completely re-doing my front end right now and I’m having trouble torquing the new lower ball joints I have. I bought the moog k8195t (pictured below), and the nut seems to have locker on the bottom of it. I get the nut on but when I try to torque it the entire assembly just spins. Any help is appreciated, I’ve already tried to holding it with a pair of vice grips and sticking a screw driver in the hole at the bottom.
  3. Even if the hoses are reversed it should still work in theory though right. Just pulling from the wrong tank? Right now it pulls gas from the front when it’s selected but pulls nothing when it’s set to rear
  4. Replaced all the fuses the other day, I’m going to buy a test light soon and check all the connections I can soon.
  5. You’re right, and I’m thinking about checking it again, but just a little while ago my selector switch went out and it defaulted to the rear tank without me knowing and ran out of gas. So as far as I know the sending unit can work.
  6. Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get my rear tank working again. As of right now I can only run fuel off of the front tank. When I flip the selector switch it stops pulling gas from the front tank but doesn’t start pulling it from the rear. I’m not sure what the issue might be here. Both sending units have been replaced, the selector valve has been replaced, and the selector switch has been replaced as well. Thanks in advance for any help.
  7. I’m looking to upgrade the suspension on my 2wd 83 f150, don’t really want to lift more than maybe 1.5 inches, but would like a smoother ride. Thanks
  8. Thinking about doing a 2.5” lift with 32’s on my 2wd. If anyone has pictures of what that might look like I’d appreciate it. Or anything even close.
  9. Haha, my bad. Didn’t see that you addressed it to Rusty.
  10. I believe it’s stock argent styled steel wheels, and the tires say P255/70R15. Here’s a link to them https://www.tiremart.com/mastercraft-avenger-g-t-255-70r15-108t-as-a-s-all-season-tire/ Not sure if the lettering just has some protective something on it in that or not but the lettering on mine is definitely white.
  11. Well, it appears that you have put your finger on the solution, Sherlock. Curious that Marti doesn't use the designated wording for that specific colour pattern. Might have to do with what you got. The snippet I posted says the following. For Deluxe Tow-Tone it says "The accent color covers the center bodyside area and tailgate. Includes mid-bodyside tape stripe and lower bodyside protection molding on single-rear-wheel regular cab and supercab styleside pickup models - mid and lower bodyside tape on other models. For the Combination Two-Tone it says "Includes accent color applied to roof and Dexlue Two-Tone as described at left. No tape or molding paint break is utilized on the roof." I suspect your regular Two-Tone didnt have the pinstripe/molding and the Deluxe Two-Tone had it. Still it wouldnt make sense for Marti-Report to list both Regular and Deluxe Two Tone if the difference amounts to pinstriping/molding. I do know for the Combination Two-Tone it is wrong in where it states no tape or molding paint break is utilized on the roof. Mine as well as the other truck posted above with Combination Two-Tone has the same style roof pinstripe to break the two tone paint line on the roof but the document states that there isnt any pinstripe or molding used. I am curious what Marti comes up with for my truck, I plan on getting the big package for mine some day. Im kind of curious what would be put down for the paint. I bought the standard and personal statistics report from them and I’m happy with it, got to learn some cool stuff about the truck and it’s verifiable. Also sent it to me laminated and ready to go into a binder. Looks very official. Apparently not very many trucks got the same paint colors as mine, and they only did it in 1983. So that may have something to do with it.
  12. Just got my truck report back and it says it came with both regular and deluxe tu tone paint. What’s the difference between them?
  13. How much higher does a stock 4x4 sit than a stock 2x4? Thanks.
  14. Originally I was thinking more power for bigger tires, I plan on putting on 33's, but after reading some of the replies here and looking around a little more I'm strongly re-considering. Right now the ratio is 3.5, it has a c6 trans and a 9" rear end. Any other suggestions would be appreciated
  15. Hey guys, I’m wondering how much money I should expect to pay to have the rear end of the truck re-geared. It’s a 2wd so only one axle and I’d like to switch it to a 4.10. Thank you
