  1. thanks, will check out but may use exhaust as I already some stock on hand
  2. thanks I am looking at the diagrams now
  3. I have an 83 F150 4x4 short body with 302. one fuel tank. Does anyone know the part number for the fuel tank filler hose. I used Spectra FNH122 and it wound up being several inches too short
  4. so there should should be a vent and grommet, I will check for the parts. thanks
  5. pulled fuel tank from 83 F150 single cab and single tank ( ruined a carb with sludge). there was of course the filler neck hole and the sending unit hole but also a small hole in top of tank. what is it for and should it have a rubber plug in it

    Re: 83 F150

ok thanks, I have since repaired the part with some spring metal from a concrete spreader tool. cut and wire welded to the open side of the spring. a little tough to shape without breaking. fits like a glove on the ball joint pivot point now

Just saw this, will be looking for that number now (E3TA 7515 EB) in place of the E3TZ 7515 D

    Re: 83 F150

the bell housing on this truck is E3TA 7505FA which has a ball stud in it. the 7515 clutch fork (which is what I have ) shows as correct on the diagrams provided on this web site(the bullnose bible). of course my fork has a broken retaining spring and neither fork nor spring can be found. I guess they mixed and matched some. as I understand the 84s and up went with a hydraulic clutch. if parts can be found, it may be worth the swap. If not I will save engine for another application and scrap the truck

    Re: 83 F150

I did not find any numbers on the clutch however the bell housing number was E3TA-7505 FA. googled it and pulled up one that looked exactly like it with the ball or mushroom pivot point that screws in back of bell housing so the fork would have to be correct to work with that set up

    Re: 83 F150

this was on a 302 and the bell housing fit so it must have been rigged up somewhere along the way

    Re: 83 F150

hey guys I am having trouble finding correct clutch fork for 1983 f150 4x4 because of the type of pivot point. would anyone suggest where to get one or what if I changed to a later bell housing with different pivot point as there seems to be plenty of clutch forks for other years
