Reverse shackle lift kits

This post was updated on .
So, I need to replace the front spring shackles in my F250 4x4.
They are $180 *each* retail and $98 my cost.

The Sky -no panhard- RSK is a 2" lift for $299.
Now that I have access to a nice welder and a press (tow company has a collision shop)
I can fab the drop pivots myself and use a more normal shackle (included in kit)

Does this seem like a no brainer?
Does anyone have a line on a pair of 350 rear spring lift blocks.... like the pair I gave away this summer?

Gary and I had a bit of back and forth in another thread, but I want to discuss lifts and RSK's specifically.
Please weigh in with personal experiences, not opinions.
 Jim,
Lil'Red is a '87 F250 HD, 4.10's, 1356 4x4, Zf-5, 3G, PMGR, Saginaw PS, desmogged with a Holley 80508 and Performer intake.
Too much other stuff to mention.
