Question re saddle blanket seat covers

Hope everyone is still safe.

Has there ever been a saddle blanket seat cover with this type of material (including the black vinyl part around the seat base) like the Ford seat cover, left photo, but running in a horizontal direction, like the right photo?

All that I have seen are vertical.

Don't think I ever seen a horizontal pattern before.

Might be something you have to get custom done by a upholstery shop.  Its what I am looking at when I get to that stage I want to locate a OE bench seat and have it covered in dark blue leather to match my interior.  Could go vinyl but it just doesn't last.

I thought of saddle blanket myself but not sure if cloth would be long lasting.

I've never seen anything with horizontal stripes. I'm currently using a standard saddle blanket style but not 100% happy with the fit. Let us know if you find anything. I'm not impressed with the quality of the bench seat covers offered online.
