My First Bullnose

Flareside Jeff
I thought I would share with you a picture of my first Bullnose truck.
She's a 1986 F150 XLT Lariat, 300/6 Auto. I bought her almost new with only
9000kms in the fall of 1987. Sadly I sold here in 1994 with 235000 kms on the clock,
and I wish I still had her!

Great looking trucks!

I'm on my second Bullnose, the first one was let go after ten years, and I still partially regret it years later.

I still have the Ranger I bought when I graduated high school over ten years ago. Plan to keep it forever just to say I've had it for forty years.

Enjoy seeing and reading this type of stuff along with a trip back in time. I still have my first and only Bullnose. Bought the fella brand new in 1986. So glad I kept it!

Nice trucks Jeff! I love seeing the old pictures from back in the 80's and 90's when a lot of people first got into the Bullnose trucks.

I bought a 1980 F100 Flareside back in the early 90's...I don't remember exactly what year, but I want to say it was 1992. It was originally a 300 six truck but the previous owner had swapped in a 351w. That truck worked really well and had oodles of power but for some reason it ate starters. With the 4spd it was fun.

I always missed that truck and started looking for another one around 2015, and bought the '84 F150 below. Pics are after I finished rebuilding it.

Then I bought this 1980 F150 4x4 and dragged it out of the weeds in pieces. It had a bad frame so I swapped the whole body on to a 1995 F150 chassis.

1994 F150 4x2 Flareside. 5.0 w/MAF, 4R70W, stock.
1984 F150 4X2 Flareside. Mild 302 w/ 5spd. Sold.
1980 F150 4X4 Flareside. 300i6 w/ 5spd. Sold in 2021.
1980 F100 4X2 Flareside. 351w/2bbl w/NP435. Sold in 1995
