Lookin' good. New paint is always so nice;).

What did you do with the front ends of the frame there? I assume you raised the horns to account for a body lift?

Yes, I cut the frame horns, and moved them up to match the bumper to the three inch body lift.

I didn't do the paint and body work, I found a shop just outside Orillia, Ontario, Called
"Body by Biggs". George Biggs is the owner, and they do Fantastic Work!!!

Every time I see this picture it reminds me of Troy, so I'll tag him;).

Cheers Troy, I hope all is well in cold north;).

Merry Christmas everybody - that two tone flareside is just like my dad used to have.  I will always love it.

Funny, Big Bro was painted all white before red was added.  Don't ask me why, I too asked a professional paint shop to do the work.
Finally a Clear was applied.

When do you plan to proceed with the two tone?

That looks good.

I'm thinking of doing that to my 1981, or at least the hood.  The rest of the paint is in good condition for a daily driver etc.

I used to do a lot of paint work myself but getting to the point where I can't do as much anymore.

It's interesting, but Ford used to paint the tu-tones the same way. Paint the whole truck the middle color first, then the rest on top of that.

Yep, the brown on my F150 was fading on top of the fenders, and you could see the light tan secondary (middle) color underneath it.
