Hello, Tim from the U.P. Here. Just joined up read the guidelines. I am here to gain some knowledge in fixing up my dads (rip) 1984 F150 style side with a I6 and manual 3+OD tranny. I am a marine mechanic so have knowledge and skills, but not specific to this project. Thanks for having me. Tim

Welcome Tim!
 First off, 'styleside' are the flat sided trucks. You have a lovely example of a Flareside! As such, you're the latest member of our FOG! (flareside owners group) And the 300/4.9 are well liked around here.  Hoping we have all the answers and data you need to get your dad's truck running great.

 What part of the UP? I ask because we have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and can add you with a city. And also because my wife and I were up there about a year ago. Spent some time in Traverse City as well as Mackinac Island.
