Headlamp

I love tools and this is one of my favorite sections in our forum. When I get a new tool worth speaking about, you'll see me post here on it. For me, it doesn't have to be the best or the most expensive, value is what is important to me.....what is the best option for my money???

Got a new headlamp today for Christmas. I've got a couple of these already, but frankly, they stink. This new one is.... WOW! I think the wife gave $17 for this off Amazon. The light is so bright you don't want to look directly into it. It is USB rechargeable and the battery time is incredible. It has several modes, one of which is hand motion on/off, which I really like. It feels like quality in your hand and I'm very impressed with it. If it holds up in time, which I think it will, total bargain!

Very neat. Thanks John! Can't ever have enough headlamps.

My favorite one so far has been:
Panther Vision POWERCAP 3.0 USB Rechargeable Headlamp LED Beanie Ultra-Bright Hands Free LED Lighted Cap, Black, One-Size (HLBR-9534)

But I see yours is usb-c which is a big plus.

The light output looks to be significantly more with yours and considering I think the Panther Vision is blinding I am really wishing I'd put yours on my Christmas list.

Scott, I gave one of these to my Daughter in law for Christmas. She runs in the mornings and needed something brighter than what she was using. It is bright, says 520 Lumens. has three light settings and a red flashing and a strobe setting. Got it at Oreilly.

Hey Bruce!
That one looks really good also and that battery life on low is very impressive. I do wish these band style lights had a rear red light on them...

My headlamp arrived from Amazon today. I really like it…my wife just ordered one for herself lol. Will come in handy as I have a lot of work to do under the truck soon. Thanks John.

I might have to get a pair of those.  I love the lights I have, but I'm always looking for some place to place it in order to get the light where I need it.  Perhaps a headlight like those would do it?

I just wanted to check back in here and let you know that this headlamp from Amazon has been an absolute game changer for me working on the old truck. I love this thing. It's small enough that it's never in the way, and I can always see! I always forget I even have it on and walk in the house and blind my wife with it...lol.

Anyway, hat tip John for posting these up. It has gone a long way to enhance my garage experience! My 50 year old eyeballs can't see like they used to!

Good to hear! I've got something else coming that I think will be a game changer, though a little pricey for what it is and the limited amount of time one would use it. I'll report on it after I've used it.
