Factory GT Sport Bar / Roll bar question

I bought a GT Sport bar / Roll bar from a guy who took it out of a 82 Bronco. I installed it in my 84 yesterday and I love it. What year Sport Bars had the extra metal bracket/support things on the corner edges?
1984 Bronco Custom, 5.0L 58k original miles

I have the same bar on 84. As far as I know, all the OEM GT bars came with those "shoulders" and a wrap around pad that accommodated them.
