EFI 460 Throttle Cover?

Our member Chris McGaugh/MotorsportXLT has made a discovery in the MPC.  It appears that Ford planned to put a cover/splash shield on the 460's with EFI, as shown in the text listing and the illustrations below.  However, neither of us have seen one.  Have any of you?

My Bronco has this. It's the teardrop looking piece on top.

Never saw one. There were also supposed to have been water lines to the throttle body according to the early information.

Bill - Nor have I.

Dane - Thanks, but the question is regarding 460’s. The MPC says they existed, but so far no one has seen them. And they carry a different part number than the ones for the other engines.

OK, I haven't seen one either on a 460. Just thought I'd throw that in there for a reference or whatever.

Interesting, must have not come to fruition for some reason.

Dane - Thanks.  I thought you'd missed the subject.

Bill - Didn't early 460 EFI trucks have heated throttle bodies?

Supposedly, I have seen a diagram showing the hoses, one tees off the heater line and the other goes to the nipple on the radiator filler neck. I have never seen one, or even a throttle body with the nipples on it. Even the 1988 I pulled one of my original EEC-IV boxes from didn't have that. The 1990 parts truck also didn't have it.

In the pictures you can see the nipples on each side of the throttle body.
