De-Smoging an ‘86

spike_time
Hi all!!

I moved recently from California to Washington, and brought my ‘86 F-350 with me. When I bought it in ‘20 I had a heck of a time getting it smogged in CA. My guy didn’t it, not sure what he did, but got me the paper, giving me a clean tittle.

Is it worth de-smogging it?

Probably not if it is running well.  But at some point one of the parts is going to fail and that might be the time, assuming you aren't adept at troubleshooting those systems - and few people are.
