1982 f250 2x4 convert to 4x4

Hello, I have a 1982 f250 extended cab 351w really good shape. I have already cut all the 2 wheel stuff out from under the front.  I know everyone will tell me get a Dana 60.  I have a Dana 60 rear full floater and a Dana 44HD open knuckle disc brake low pinion axles out of a highboy 77-1/2. 4:10s. I would like to use the front axle if at all possible.  Anyone done this swap.  I also have the 205divorced transfer case .  Thanks for any suggestions
