I'm pretty sure Ford did away with the windshield moulding on Superduty trucks, which are '99 models.
Certainly the glass is the same up to the '96 restyle of the F-150, but 250-350 models didn't change in '97 and there was no '98 for those heavier trucks.
 Jim,
Lil'Red is a '87 F250 HD, 4.10's, 1356 4x4, Zf-5, 3G, PMGR, Saginaw PS, desmogged with a Holley 80508 and Performer intake.
Too much other stuff to mention.

What was already posted is correct. It may not seem that way because the 93-96 F-series didn't have chrome trim around the windows in many trim levels. It was powder coated black and thinner on later trucks but not by much. What LMC Truck has will work for the years they specify.

Also, F-150 and F-250 were on the new chassis from 1997 to 1999. 1998 was an odd year. In 1998 the following happened:

- the old twin I-beam chassis F-series that soldiered on as the F250HD/F350/F450 after the 1996 mid-year intro of the all new '97 F150/F250 was retired at the end of 1997. Any 1998 models that were sold were unsold inventory leftovers from 1997 that were re-VIN'ed as 1998 models. So there's 1998's out there, they're just not really "official". After mid-year 1998, though, all the old 1997 inventory that didn't get sold got shipped off to South American markets to be sold there as the chassis continued there until the 1999 mid-year where the F-1000 was replaced with the Ford "global" Ranger platform.

- mid-1998 got the intro of the Super Duty. Ford had been taking orders for the new Super Duty for fleet sales since November of '97 and started production Jan 5, 1998. Deliveries started being made in June of 1998 but as 1999 models/VINs.

- June 1998 saw consumer release of the new Super Duty for sales/ordering. They were sold as 1999 models too despite being 1998.5 release

The mid-year, next model year release was due to emissions and fuel mileage law changes for 1999. A mid-year release would have messed up regulatory numbers for Ford so they made everything a 1999 model instead of a 1998 model. That's why 1999 Super Duty numbers are so high compared with other years. They basically have 2 years of sales for a single model year.

That came from the fleet manager at Holman Ford in Maple Shade when they were sponsoring the local SVTOA chapter and we were asking about the new Sooper Doodys because it was so confusing and they were talking about a refresh due in 2005 with a mid-2004 announcement. The Super Duty refresh had been announced early to us at a dealer sponsored event for industry types and we got to see the pre-production Fusion at that show. We were part of the SVTOA and Ford was using it as free advertisement so we got invited to in the summer of 2002. We also got to see the production ready Ford GT and we were lumped into the market research on the then new Fusion which was going to production in late 2003 for a late 2004 model release as a 2005. So we got to drive the pre-production mules they were going to send out to the magazines and tell the survey guys what we thought of them.

Then we all got a ride around the marked out test track with one of Ford's test drivers in the Ford GT they had.
