white bagged insulation in 83 F150 - what is it?

What is the white bagged insulation in my 83 F150 (CA truck)? I hope it's not Asbestos.

I'm pretty sure that's fiberglass. I have a piece of it in my shop that I took out of Big Blue recently, and it looks to have the fibers.

I had the same thought when I ripped mine out. was very dense, but may have been soaked in a unknown liquid.

Here's a closeup of the pad out of Big Blue. I don't know what asbestos looks like, but this looks like fiberglass to me.

My 1984 F150 had this same flat bag of white fibrous insulation on the passenger side (basically, on top of the catalytic converter). I certainly don't know what it was, but I threw it out since it was looking pretty ratty at 35 years old.

Found this site it doesn't list carpet pad or insulation as one of the things Ford used asbestos in though other companies did. But it does say it used it in other parts, like lining brake components.
