happy owner of a new 1985 F150 short bed!

stevenscoffee
Hello Everyone,

When I was younger I had a 1979 ford bronco that I loved! Unfortunately rust and parking tickets took it away from me. For the past 15 years I have been on the hunt for another 79 bronco or a 75 or older pickup, but there seems to be either total junk rigs or completely rebuilt and expensive! How did these become so popular?

Well one late night of searching endless internet black holes I came across an add on Facebook for a 1985 F150 from an old hippy goat farmer. He was reluctantly selling his baby and was trying to find the right person to sell it too, me!

Well $5006 later I was the happy owner of 12 fresh eggs and Bullnose and in love!
I had to politely decline a goat.

I hope all of you can be a huge help as I pepper you with all sorts of question!

Welcome Stephen!

I know it's not your dream ride, but it looks pretty nice to me!

If you are looking for help with the F-150 come post a thread downstairs in the main forum.

And have a look at out members map....
Consider adding your location.
Not only does it help us see where you are in relation to the other members, it gives us a good idea of the climactic conditions you (and it) face.

Exactly, how does one "politely" decline a goat?

Was it standing on top when you showed up to buy it???

Ok then....
It's not a '70s truck or Bronco.
15 years is a long time to hold out.

That winch bumper (mount?) is a BEAST!!!!!

What was the goat herding hippie doing with this rig?

Welcome to the forum. I don't spend as much time on here as the retired guys, but when work is slow, I jump on and stir the pot. Nice truck.
