Windshield Washer Switch

Ralloking
I have to change my Switch. I have the simple version without Intervall/Intermitted function.
Is ist possible to replace it without modification to the Intervall/intermitted version?

Thank you!

You need to plug the delay module "Wiper Speed Governor" in Ford speak, between the delay wiper switch and the trucks harness.
Then you need to ground the single wire that will be hanging out.
There is a screw for grounds already under the dash, within reach.

Edit to add:
There is no modification to the truck harness needed.
The delay module "out" plug is identical to the non-delay wiper switch.
The delay switch pigtail, matches the module "in" but will not fit the truck harness.

These expensive (over $100 Ford retail) Wiper Speed Governors have a large heatsink inside, and the solder gets weak after extended use.
In my years of replacing/repairing these, I've found it's best to bundle it in foam rubber and loosely zip tie it up behind the fuse panel.

When screwed to the spring bracket that attaches to the parking brake it must vibrate like a tuning fork or something.
