C6 or E4OD would both bolt on. E4OD needs an electronic controller. I think a C4 from a car with a 302 would also bolt on, but probably not a good choice in a truck.

If you are swapping transmissions you might need to alter or replace other parts. For example, the shift linkage may be different or backwards on a new trans, or the overall length of the trans might dictate that you need to shorten or lengthen your driveshaft.

The path of least resistance is going to be to find a trans that is the same as what's in there now. Or have your current trans rebuilt.

4R70W also, but like the E4OD is also requires an electronic controller.

4R70W or 75W is essentially the same physical size as an AOD (it was a descendant of the AOD to allow computer control). That would just need a controller and no drive line changes.

Early Broncos used C4s as well.  And I have a friend that built a C4 for a drag car (Mustang) that would lift the front tires off the ground on launch.  So C4s can be tough transmissions.  And I think I've heard that they aren't as power-hungry as a C6.  But that's all I (think I) know about them, so take it for what it's worth.
