Anyone every pull the shifter from the T170 (TOD) 4 speed OD trans? I'd like to get it off to pull the transmission, but have no idea how that thing comes off. If it unscrews like a T18 or NP435, it's going to take one monster of a set of channel locks or other to get around the base. I've looked at exploded views online, but still don't really see how it comes off, other than it possibly being threaded. Thanks for any pointers on this one.
