Step bar recommendation

IowaTom
Guys - I'd like to get a set of steps to make getting in & out of my '85 F150 a tad easier.
I bought a set of Bully brand that supposedly fit my year truck, but all the futzing with wedges and shims wouldn't make these work so I sent 'em back.
If you've had good luck with something that fits, please let me know!  Thanks!

Tom,  I've been thinking about doing the same thing.  While I don't have any answers, I been thinking of giving the running boards from LMC  a shot. So if you or anyone else has any thoughts, I'd be interested.

Big Brother has custom fit ones (crew cab, nobody has a thought for these big guys).
They look pretty same as these:

Are you looking for a flat step that goes from front wheel to bed wheel (such as LMC’s), or something similar to these ones, that are frame attached and just as long as door space?

Available for Regular or King cabs, black or stainless:

Restored 2019-2022.
Nicknamed «Big Brother 1984», due to its soooo-looong shape & nod to George Orwell's 1984 famous novel.

I'd be okay with a flat step.  Those 'nerf' bars look nice...and expensive.  :-)

I have the LMC bars. The bars themselves are fine, the mounting can be fun. I discuss that a bit in this thread.
