Wrong part number as 13450 is a tail light lens.  But 16450 is the base PN for a running board kit.  And E6TZ 16450-E is correct for 1980 - 86 F-Series regular cab trucks.  So, assuming that what he has is that part number it should fit perfectly.  But he doesn't have the "-E" in it and that's crucial as "E6TZ 16450-H" is for a Supercab.

What does E6TZ-16450-C fit, because that's definitely a "C"?

Copied from the catalog with the emphasis mine:

83/88 R (Regular Cab) E6TZ 16450-C Kit-bright-includes instruction sheet

In other words, it fits your little Ranger.

Won't fit my little Ranger since I have a SuperCab, but I did find the running boards in the 1986 Accessories Brochure located within the literature section of this site.

Here's the snippet.

LOL!  That's how I found what the generic part number on running boards is - the 1981 Accessories Catalog.

My guess is that the only difference is the length of the boards.  I bet you could trim a long pair of boards to fit any shorter (or smalleR) cab.
