Rubber Eraser Wheel for removing decals and adhesive, etc

Just another FYI from the garage...you guys may already have one of these, but man oh man have I been making great use of this:

I wish I had known about these things a few months ago or even years ago. Maybe it's just me but I always seem to be removing decals and adhesive from something. This thing works amazing. I used it on my wife's wheels this afternoon (see also Rimsavers thread) and also this morning to remove the old sticky material from the cab of the 1980 F150 where the windshield visor had been installed.

This thing just whirrs through that old stuff that I would have normally spent hours removing until my fingernails were bleeding haha.

For the $10 bucks they cost, I won't ever be without one again!

Come on Corey, every paint and body guy knows about those things....LOL! Actually, when I had my truck painted back 7-8 years ago, I had some red stripes running down the side. I watched my painter pull one of those out and very quickly remove the stripes. I was amazed at how it took the stripes off without any damage to the underlying and surrounding paint.

Good to know! I am NOT a paint and body guy but Im working on it.

Haha! But I'm not a paint and body guy...I'm a wrench and skinned knuckles kind of guy!

I had one about 30 to 40 years ago, think I just tripped over it in a box the other day in the garage?

Anyway it did not touch the stripes down the side of my Gremlin, they were baked on big time!
This was maybe mid 80's and the car was a 75. Had a hard time with 36 grit paper on the DA to get them off.

Just be careful on newer cars with composite panels.  Not even a second and it had left a gouge in the trunk lid, and as a bonus whatever compound it is the first 3 body shops I went to said they couldn't work with it.  Very annoying mistake to say the least.  

I got one of those rubber wheels after much searching for a way to clean up the foam tape residue of my trim pieces. It sorta works, better than anything else I’ve tried. Scrapping, multitude of solvents, etc. the glue that ford used is tenacious!
Other recommendations are welcome.
