We have such a collection facility here in Melville, Sk. I work relief there occasionally and the amount of oil and filters collected is truly amazing.

The county has a waste oil collection site a few miles from me.  They have several 55 gal drums there for oil filters too, so I've always brought mine there.  Which reminds me, my collection bucket is full, I ought to make a trip there this weekend!
