Part Number Help

Dyn Blin
'Hoping to solicit some group wisdom on sourcing a part number.  When tuning the carb for this year's emission testing, I noticed the throttle cable assembly plastics are brittle and cracked.

I *think* I recall some differences between speed control and non-cruise part #'s.   Will a knowledgeable party please point me in a direction to dive deeper?

I'm not knowledgeable but I did find a 2014 post from number dummy stating:

E1TZ-9A758-E .. Accelerator Cable-19 3/4" long ~ 1981/83 F100 255/302 / 1981/85 F150/250 & Bronco 302/351W 2V/...

I always thought the part for the bead chain just clipped on the OEM throttle cable?

I see some incomplete part numbers here, under Speed Control. (separate #'s for throttle and cruise solenoid)

https://www.garysgaragemahal.com/speed-control.html

Gary has the part number charts too chopped up for me to make any sense posting them here, and I don't have a way to view my MPC and give you the complete chart with applications, but it seems factory or dealer installed makes a difference.

Follow the link if you want to view the list.

I'm at the tow company until 7AM and it's really slow tonight.

It's not a definitive Gary answer but I hope it helps..

For whatever it is worth, this is available on eBay, if it is the desired part?

Thanks, David.  I also saw that one last night (I'm the "watcher").  Although I'm not in a spot to complain about price on NOS, that $90 + Shipping makes me want to measure twice as it seems to not match the length in #Dummy's quoted post.

Number Dummy Legacy Wisdom on Throttle Cables

I'll circle back to memorialize the outcome for posterity.
