E9TZ-9A758-U is a throttle cable for a 7.3 diesel, not your 302!
AOD trucks used E5TZ-9A758-A, C6 and manual trans trucks used E6TZ-9A758-D.

Both cables are obsolete, but there are dealers out there on the D2D locator that still show them in stock.

Interesting.  I originally pulled that part number from ATP's site...


And then I searched Google and found it on Lakeland Ford's parts site...


And then I double checked on FordPartsGiant after your post...


Advance Auto Parts also lists the ATP part number in the screenshot above as being correct for my truck.

This could get fun.

Notice that they show one number to replace all of Ford's part numbers. Their replacement will be close enough to work, but may not be an exact fit.

Remember the definition of universal... Fits nothing, but can be made to work.

I completely get that with ATP, what surprised me is the discrepancy between the two Ford parts sites.

And note that Ford Parts Giant says it DOES NOT fit your truck.
