Old question...

I know this has been discussed previously and I believe the answer is "yes", but can a fuel tank and sending unit from a 1985 short wheel base Styleside be swapped for a 1984 F150 same as the 1985? I know the tank opening for the sending unit is larger.

16 gallon side tanks are the same except for the bigger bung and four pin connector.

Doesn't matter styleside or flareside.
