I'm interested in the little tractor.

Looks like you're adding to your stable.
Be careful! It's infectious.

Re: Nice find

Yes it is, where will it end, no one knows. Just as I was making the post last night, we had a strong storm come through and knock out the power, took down a tree, and lots of limbs out of the pecan trees. Spending today cleaning up.
The truck is a 1986 F150 XLT,  short bed, 5.0, 2 wheel drive, automatic with a 3.55 differential. White outside and red inside ,duel gas tanks.

The rear tank has been replaced, and it has a new radiator. I originally got the truck because the bed is in such good shape, my plan was to replace the one on the 84 with it. After bringing it home, and giving it a once over, its in much better shape than I thought.  I’m going to have a much closer look at the motor and transmission before I start pulling body parts.

The little tractor is a 1961 Fordson Dexta, diesel, made in England, The main difference between the English manufacturer Dexta, ones and a US made Ford 2000 was the US version used standard threads and this one is all metric. My uncle purchased it new, my brother got it in 1978, and when he passed in 2013 I got it to keep it in the family, as none of his children Gary, I have no idea how to rotate it last photo. We use it to mow and occasionally pull a trailer, still strong. I have the finders off to have painted.

The best way to rotate the pic is to open it in a photo editing app, rotate it, and save it again.  I've done just that and here 'tis:

At least it's not Whitworth!

I thought it was Ford, but today I learned they were made under license in the UK.

Nice find, indeed! Interesting to me that there is rust in one of the doors but not in the rear wheel arches. My truck is a one owner, I know where it has been, and yet both rear wheel arches rusted out. Just recently repaired them. When I get time, going to put something up on that.

Re: Nice find

Tried to start it yesterday, nothing, either with the key or a remote starter. Replace the starter relay with one I had from the 84. The relay would click but not turn the motor over. It appears the old battery I had did not take a charge.

The rain started in again so I called it a day. Will see if a jumpstart will do anything, this morning.

The power windows and door locks worked, but the windows are slow, and push towards the front of the door. More to come as I investigate, and sort it out.

Once I jumped  it, the motor turned over Easy. Did not fire, have not checked the gas, or the electric. 1 step at a time.
