Loose automatic column shifter fix?

 I would like to tighten up my shifter, it has a lot of play.

Can you identify where the play is? Is the handle loose, the collar (it's riveted to the shift tube), the linkage down near the frame, etc?

The video is the first time I've seen how a later model kind of works but looks like they changed quite a bit.

That is a completely different column, it is what I have in Darth. Your column is a shaft in a tube in another tube.

The slop seems to be where the shifter attaches outside the collar.
