I think the AC in my 1980 is dealer installed, but controls on mine are under the radio and there is a duct where these switches are.

Yeah Shorty, they are both dealer installed. Not sure what designated when one got installed vs the other. Price? Preference?

Thanks. I had no idea dealers had that much latitude in installing AC. I imagined there was a standard layout and parts list.

My grandfather had his put in at the dealer before pickup and his was like yours. My 80 has the cluster one but I don't know if it was put in before pickup or on a return visit.
