In bed spare tire mount lock plate

Another oddball item I had to dig into Gary's documentation to figure out what it was.

David may have already posted this, so my apologies if it's a duplicate post.

I knew it didn't fit my truck, so I was curious enough to figure out what part it was. It's one of two pieces that makes up the locking plate on the in-bed spare tire carrier (Gary correct me if I'm wrong please).

I have found it to be true that when "one" something is found, other like pieces show up!

Ain't that the truth David! I was up at 330am so I was scanning Ebay while I was still in a semi-awake state trying to get my caffeine in to me.

I think you are exactly right - it is part of the in-bed spare tire carrier - the part that goes against the wheel with the wing nut going against it.

Gonna be 'spensive to piece together the whole system that way.
