Help me decide on exterior paint.

OK so I chose to go white, that's going down.

But I also don't want it to be super washed out and plain, I am getting ready to start working on the outside.


I was thinking of maybe doing the rocker panel line down each side in black or bed liner kind of like this, ive seen this done on 80-96 trucks, just cant find a picture:


Adding the black trim, also would serve the purpose to break up the white as well, and doesn't look half bad ( I love this bumper).


One last thing caught my eye when I was looking for paint schemes.. this 79 and this green color... that's nice anyone know that paint code... the body style is different so I don't know how it would look, I do like that color lol.

I think the all-white one with the black trim looks good.  And clean.

But make sure the trim lines up properly.  You can see that the bed and cab line up correctly, but the trim doesn't.  And that is very conspicuous given the black on white.

I like the white one also, I agree, clean. I also like the green.

I think we are all leaning that way. I need to get that bumper. Last time I checked on LMC they had half the parts for it.

For that bumper everything is available on LMC new except the outside pads and the guards... From the get go this has been the bumper I wanted but for the life of me cannot find.

Now the question is... how do I install those side molding strips lol. I can only find the fender and cab corner pieces. Door and bed are non-existent, less one RH door one I found on Ebay for $150, this looks like it is not an option.

They have the stuff for 97+, looks like Ford went to an adhesive strip on that version, doesn't have the same look but may be an option.
