Hello

Cudal82
Hello all,

I needed a truck for work and I prefer the old technology, so I picked up a 1982 F-250 Explorer about a month ago. I found it on Craigslist and for a Michigan car, this truck is unbelievably clean. My first car was a 1985 F-150 inline six, so this new truck feels like an old friend. I've been driving old Subarus for years so I am pretty rusty when it comes to Fords and real trucks. I am very glad that I found this forum, and although I am not great with computers, it seemed like it would be really good to join. I am glad to be a part of this group.

I am located outside of Pontiac, MI in what was once called Disco, MI.

Shaun - Welcome!  I like the truck.

And, I'm glad you joined.  You don't have to be good with computers to be a family member here.  In fact, you don't even have to be mechanically inclined, or even have a Bullnose truck.

We have a member's map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map on the menu) and I'd be happy to add you if you'd like.

Old Subie's?  We drive a 2001 Forester.

You are on the map, but check to see that I got it right.  Google Maps wasn't quite sure about Disco.

The Subaru BRAT, short for "Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter", known outside Canada and the United States as the 284 in the United Kingdom, Brumby in Australia, and Shifter, MV, or Targa in other markets, is a light duty, four-wheel drive coupé utility,[1][2] sold from 1978 to 1994. It was an export-only model, never being officially sold in Japan. Due to this, the BRAT became a popular grey import vehicle in Japan.

Well, it is still funny.  But, now I know it is also true.  Cool!
