I thought 15 x 6 is Ranger/Bronco II?

And many of the early 80s F100s. They are 4 1/2 bolt pattern too.

You're probably speaking specifically about aluminum wheels, but the stock steelies on my '84 were 5.5" wide. You could cut pizza with them;).

15" x 5 1/2 bolt pattern steels were 5 1/2 wide. But 15 x 4 1/2 bolt patter steels were 6" wide. True and weird.

The master parts catalog doesn't show anything narrower than 6.0": Driveline/Wheels.

Also, it doesn't show any 1980 nor 1981 5 x 4.5's. The first one is in 1982.

Weird, the steel wheels for fullsize trucks have been/were 5 1/2" for many, many years. All the one's I have ever seen, that had the 5.5 bolt pattern, were 5 1/2" wide. Only the 4 1/2 bolt pattern is 6".

I didn't measure mine or anything, I'm just going by the data tag on the cab. This thing had tiny little 215/75 tires on it new.

These are probably the neatest factory alloys in my opinion... I think Alfie was looking for a set for his bronco... I’ll have to message him just in case he is interested.

My son's 1984 [4X2] was "born" with black 5 1/2" wide steel rims. I worked with a man who purchased a 1984 F150 [new] with white steel rims [because it was 4X4?] and dog dish caps. I bought these rims and put them on my son's truck [after painting them black]. They were date stamped '84 and were 6" wide [4X4]. The rivets used on the 6" wide rims were larger than the ones on the 5 1/2" wide rim.

When I say all steel wheels were 5.5 wide with 5 1/2 bolt pattern, I am referring 4x2 wheels.
