Factory 96 Only (97HD) Smog Pump Eliminator Pulley

Hello guys! I thought I would share a find that a friend of mine figured out. I can't seem to find any articles on it. It appears that when Ford switched to EEC-V and only in 1996 some of the trucks at that point did not require a smog pump. Instead of running a shorter belt or creating a new bracket, Ford decided to create a new idler pully that mounted in the same location as the air pump. It is very similar to the eliminator offered by Ford Performance only the pully on the trucks is larger and made out of metal. This allows you to run a factory sized belt. I found one for my 460 truck and I will be looking for a few more for my other trucks when I do the serp accessory drive conversion. If anyone has a pulley they would be willing to sell please let me know! Hopefully this will help some people as well!
