Yes, that one. Thank you. I have the seal here, but not my truck, so I couldn't even test fit it to see where it goes.

Did your truck have this seal previously? Is that how you knew the orientation and where to install it on the door?

If you get an original-style formed seal, it's easy to tell where it goes by how it's formed.  But if you get an aftermarket continuous-cross-section seal, you'd have to choose the location you want.  I don't think it's that critical, though.

My seal is the same as the one pictured above. Is that the original style or the aftermarket style?

If the top end is the same profile as the bottom, it's aftermarket.  Originals change shape where they're bent, and you can see the seam where the sections are glued together.

I began installing the window run felt the other day. Started by lining up the corner with no felt into the point where the vent window touches the top of the door.
Looks like there is a few inches hanging down below the bottom of the vent window channel. Normal?
Also the lip of the felt doesn't fully seat against the edges of the channel like I'd expect.
Will add a photo shortly.
It is the Fairchild 80-86 set but the extra length has made me wonder if I was sent the next gen.

Thanks Dane. I am about an inch short on the latch side but four inches long on the vent side.
Also shown is the gap where I'd expect it to fully seat in the vent channel. The yellow wedge tool is shown in the gap. If this is just how the aftermarket ones fit that's fine, just want to make sure mine matches others in case I did get the wrong one in the package.

I don't remember even looking at the ends if short or longer than the channels?

I knew I had the right kit as I had the vent window seals and they matched the old ones from the truck.
At first I was trying to install the vent seals on replacement vent assy. and how I found out a little later the vent assy. were the wrong ones for my truck

I can say I am vary pleased with the seal kit I got as it installed easily and fit was great.
I still need to install them upper wind door seals as it sounds like a door is open or window is down LOL.

I’m not sure what or where the picture is looking at. Don’t remember it being short or a gap.

The pictures are of the channel the glass goes up & down in and he is trying to fit a new channel fuzzies in it.
I just don't remember looking at mine when I installed the fuzzies to see if to long or short.

Oh, ok, that’s without the seal. I think that’s normal.
