not sure on the year cause the front contridicts itself, the ford letters and the grill were 2 diffrent year sets, chances are if its got the lettering, its probibly an 80-81, and they they threw on a 82-86 grill. looks cool tho!
Hunting for a Bullnose, single cab, 8 foot bed, decent shape with little to no rust! and under 10k in near or around the STL Mo area, (Illinois is a valid option aswell!)

Well, even the Ford lettering is not spaced correctly, so it was either added or changed. A lot can change in 35+ years. Most of these trucks have been painted and had bodywork done multiple times;).

Imagine...it's almost 40 years since the first Bullnoses started hitting the dealers.

I've been seeing the odd Bullnose in TV shows and movies lately. Wife and I saw one in Shameless on Netflix a little while back...I think it was the last episode.

Movies sets rent or buy what ever they can get that will match the movie.
If they are going to destroy the car / truck they will get the cheapest one they can, do what is needed to make it look good (think you have seen bad body work before?) and do what is needed to make it work, and film it.
You never see how bad it really is when going across the screen!

The AMC group I am on has film places all the time asking for (buy or rent) cars for movies.
I also had a buddy rent out his think it was a 53 Chev to the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark and he got to drive the car in the shot.

So that Bronco could be the cheapest they could get for the movie and why the different parts.
