Gents,
These wheels were on my Bullnose when I purchased it. Are they a factory Ford wheel or aftermarket? I want to put them up for sale but would like to identify them if possible. Looking on the wheel page, "Type-9" looks similar, but I dunno... I know my truck came with skinny little steel wheels when new, so I'm not sure what these ones are from.

Factory Bullnose, or Bricknose, or both? Are they 7" wide? I can't measure properly with the tires still on them...

The page on here (Driveline/Wheels) shows them as 6" and they were available only in 1980 & '81.

Yes, those are factory Ford wheels.
They are 15x7.5 and originally came on 1990 - 1994 trucks. 1995/1996 had a very similar style wheel but without the rivets. They were *not* factory original wheels for the Bullnose years. Sorry Gary, but the 1978 - 1981 wheels are 15x6 and look a bit different:

Oh OK, thanks Lariat. I may keep them yet, I dunno...but I was curious what they were from.

Rick - Thanks for the correction.
This info needs to be on the Y2Y differences page since those wheels were available for only 2 of the Bullnose years. I’ll add them awa your pic(s). 👍

The years listed are incorrect, but the advertisement does state a 6" width. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-Ford-1978-1986-Truck-Aluminum-Wheels-F150-Bronco-Van-1979-1980-1981-1982/142899985192?epid=1256795262&hash=item214580bb28:g:KoEAAOSwa-dWp~Lo:rk:1:pf:0 |

Yes, those are apparently the 1978 - 81 wheels that Ford said have "10 opening - polished aluminum".

Ok, I put a blurb about the 10-hole polished aluminum wheels, as well as their cast aluminum replacements, on the Y2Y page and the Engine & Driveline tab: http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/year-to-year-differences.html
And, I put two pics of the 10-hole polished aluminum wheels on a new tab, oddly enough called Pictures, on the Driveline/Wheels page. Let me know if that works for y'all.

Let me know if you put them up. Shipping would probably put them out of my price range, but I've been looking for 2 of those (but figure I'll need to buy a whole set.)

Those OEM wheels in that Ebay listing are extremely hard to find, especially in NOS condition. They are period-correct for 1978 - 1981 and would look unique and great on Dad's truck, Gary. Kind of like the exclusive 1980/1981 grille, hood letters, and nameplates.
The ones you have now are very common. You can buy aftermarket wheels just like those almost anywhere.

True, but my brother bought them specifically for use on our father's truck. And I like them. So, while they aren't correct I'll keep them.

Oh I think the shipping would be really out to lunch on them. I just shipped some Bullnose parts to New Jersey and that little 7 lb box cost $35 by ground. To the west coast, I'm sure it would be quite unreasonable. If I can find a way to weigh one of these at work I'll check into it, but I'm afraid it won't be pretty...lol.
