AC Control/Vac Selector

hubcityford
I have an 81 f100 Custom and I know my vacuum selector value assembly is done, the coil spring keeps falling out. I thought if I’m replacing that maybe I should try and find a control assembly too just in case. I think the part number is E1TZ 19980-A for control assembly and D5AZ 19B888-C (YH-279) for vac selector. However I would like a second opinion. I think I found a NOS of each of these are the part numbers but seemed high $260 and $70, respectively. Would like any advice or suggestions. I’m in south Mississippi so not having AC is not negotiable.
I included a photo of control. Thanks for help.  Jeremy

Jeremy, that was one of the hardest parts to find the RIGHT one for the E1TZ-19980-A is one of 4 different parts and they all fit your truck be careful before ordering one. the E1TZ-19980 has 4 different Letter prefix to it there is also an B,C,and D. i'm at work right now but i do have one at home and also the YH-279 mine ended up be YH-280. let me look when i get home and see what i have for sure. what happens when you put the wrong one in it sends air or (vacuum)  to the wrong controllers and blows air in all the wrong places.  i'll let you know.
