33x10.5r15 tires on my F100 Ranger

Hi everyone,
I have a 81 F100 Ranger (2WD) with die original 15 x 6.0JK rims and 235/75 r15 tires on it.

I would like to swap to 33x10.5r15s because I like the look with the higher tire wall.

Does anybody have experience with that tire size? Do they finally fit on my
15 x 6.0JK rims and on the Truck without rubbing?

Every advise or pictures would be really appreciated.

Thanks best Regards

Volker

Those may be a little too tall and will likely rub in tight turns. I am considering 31's on my 86 f150 4x4 and I've read that they may rub. Some of this has to do with the wheel offset though.

Hi,
I was told that 31x10.5r15 are more thight on the chassis than 33x10.5r15.

I was also considering buying 16 x 7 inch Rims, but my F100 has 5lug and the original Ford Rims in 16inch have 8lug.
If I could put 16inch on, I would consider 255/85 R16 tires. But there are no Ford steel wheels with 5 holes.

Best Regards
