1986 F150 Lariat finish panel letters

Hey folks,

I've been on the search for the FORD letters that go on the striped red piece on the brushed aluminum panel for the tailgate. I have the panel and red stripe but not the letters.

I've found this: E0TZ-9840282-SET.
I know its listed as 80-85 but I'm curious if those fit on the 86 finish panel.

Anybody try?

Yes they fit the 1985-1986 tailgate finish panel.

They also fit the 1980-1984 tailgate finish panel.


Original Ford part numbers:

E0TZ-9840282-A   = F
E0TZ-9840282-B   = O
E0TZ-9840282-C   = R
E0TZ-9840282-D   = D

I did get in contact with LMC Customer Service and she told me the rough dimension of each letter are 4in wide by 2in tall, same as the letter slots in panel. But I have full confirmation through your reply.
