My OEM Radio doesn’t work. Found out this thing and I don’t know what it is and I don’t see it on the wiring diagram. Any help would be appreciated.

Prob a noise suppressor or a fuse. Hard to tell.

The EVTM does say there is a choke attached to the rear of the radio, but it doesn't list it as shown in any illustration.
I would think that's a suppression coil.

Do you have a problem with ignition noise coming through the speakers?

The radio doesn’t work (produce sound) but it illuminates and the station light glows when I move the tuning dial around. Antenna is connected, thinking in putting a more modern basic stereo just to listen to some music.
