1985 F250 4x4 on Craigslist with cab damage

This thing caught my eye while scrolling through the ads this morning.

It looks good and it's cheap, but it needs a cab...

It's got some really bizarre looking roof rust going on there...

That really is some bizarre rust. It looks like it rusted from the inside out, and bad. Almost as if it was parked by the ocean with the windows down, and no headliner.

Maybe a cab over camper or lumber rack was rubbing on the roof and sat with dirt and leaves packed around where the paint was gone? 🤷‍♂️

That makes me nervous. Mine has some exterior surface rust on the roof. The original owner hauled a fifth wheel, conventional trailer and a truck camper.

So, I don’t think it’s inside like that.

I was thinking the same thing but then seen the inside bracing even worst.
