1980 f100 9' alxe spines 28 or 31

Hi guys do our trucks come with 28 or 31 spine axles from factory as am looking at changing them?

Darin - I believe all of the trucks came with 31 spline axles. But there’s a remote chance that the F100’s with the 4 1/2” bolt circle axles came with 28’s. I’ll research that soonest.

yeah, not sure about the newer trucks, but certainly all the older ones did. I used a 3.89 31 spine center section for my '68 1/2 CJ Mustang. It came with 31 spline.
